In 2021, the challenge was clear for the world's leading crane manufacturer: reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 15% by 2025, with respective reductions of 8% and 9% in gas and electricity consumption. The energy revolution has begun. Discover how Manitowoc has transformed its energy practices and reduced its carbon footprint thanks to Energiency's innovative approach to data analysis.

Faced with significant gas consumption and growing sustainability demands, the American crane giant has mobilized to align operations with environmental standards. The company launched an ambitious industrial transformation with three key objectives: automate data collection, implement an adapted energy management tool, and achieve significant energy savings.

Philippe Guillaumin, Maintenance and Methods Manager at Manitowoc, comments: "The Energiency tool is easy to use and intuitive. Thanks to the personalized platform, we can better calculate the impact of our improvement actions."

At the heart of Manitowoc's energy transformation, the partnership with Actemium was decisive. As the industrial branch of Vinci Energie, Actemium deployed an infrastructure for measuring and collecting consumption data, enabling in-depth data analysis via the Energiency platform.
