Energy management

From spreadsheet to 4.0 software: how did Brient manage to control its energy consumption?

In 2015, Agrial embarked on an energy performance approach with the aim of reducing consumption by 10% by 2025 on all the group's sites. The Mordelles and Antrain plants (France) were chosen as pilot sites for the project in order to identify and implement performance and control actions. Brient then called on Energiency to monitor energy consumption in real time at each of the sites, detect anomalies and implement energy management.

In order to be able to manage electricity, gas and water consumption on a daily basis, the two sites of Mordelles and Antrain have been connected to the Energiency platform. Brient now receives energy data in real time, which is linked to production data in order to calculate energy performance indicators for each workshop, in accordance with ISO 50 001 certification. A change in working conditions for these French plants, which previously used Excel spreadsheets to manage their data.

The partnership between Brient and Energiency has enabled the industrial company to bring its consumption under control. Discover in this success story the 3 phases of the project implemented by Energiency.
